Economy

Everything on the ladder is bought with ❀, and almost all of it comes from other players. Here is where the money moves.

Last updated

The currency is ❀. You check what you have with /balance, send it with /pay, and see who has the most with /baltop. All three are yours from Wayfarer.

Player shops

Open your own shop with /shop. The number of shops you can run rises with every rank — from 10 at Wayfarer up to 70 at Sovereign of the Everbloom.

This is the backbone of the economy. Most of the ❀ that ends up funding a /rankup passed through someone's shop first.

The auction house

For things that do not want a permanent shelf: put it up, let people bid. Auction house access comes with Wayfarer, and the number of listings you can run at once goes from 2 at the bottom of the ladder to 42 at the top.

TradeMe

Direct player-to-player trading. Both sides see what is on the table before anything changes hands, which is the safe way to do a deal that is too specific for a shop and too large for a chest drop.

Honor Points are a different thing

❀ is not the only currency on the server, and the other one does not work like it at all. Honor Points are earned by voting and nothing else — not chat, not playtime, not minigames — and they buy cosmetics from /chatshop.

The two never meet. No amount of ❀ buys a hat, and no amount of voting moves you up the ladder. Keeping them apart is what stops the economy from turning into a shortcut.
